This is an exciting newly created role in the Trauma & Orthopaedics Care Group at PRUH & South Sites. The successful candidate will have the chance to voice ideas, make improvements and ensure their own personal development within the department supported by the Clinical and Management team. We are a really busy, hardworking and friendly department with a growing medical workforce.The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of medical rotas within the care group, ensuring safe and effective rostering and responding to issues relating to leave, locums, induction, sickness and working hours. This will include the development and on-going management of the out of hours and on call rotas for Trauma & Orthopaedics Medical Team.You will have experience of working in a busy office environment, preferably in HR or Medical Staffing. You will be highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative and have experience of using management information systems. You will be customer/patient focused with the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times.King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching Trusts with a turnover of c£1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 15,000 staff based across South East London.
