We are looking for aBank/Casual Medical Secretaryto join the team at our centre based inMilton Keynes.

As the Medical Secretary your primary purpose is to provide a comprehensive secretarial service to various consultants, dealing with enquiries, correspondence and typing clinic letters/reports.

Hours: Bank/Casual

What You’ll Do
  • Support the centre in all administrative functions as directed by the Centre Manager
  • Act as the main point of contact for consultants and other clinical staff, managing enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.

What You’ll Have

Experience and skills:
  • Significant experience of working as a secretary and/or in a clerical environment
  • Experience of managing diaries and schedules
  • Experience of referral triaging and booking processes
  • Excellent communication and Organisational skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work to tight and conflicting deadlines

Qualifications And Knowledge
  • RSA audio typing and typing or equivalent keyboard skills
  • Medical terminology
  • Able to demonstrate experience of working with Microsoft office and databases
