Job description

Jenner House Surgery is a busy local practice with 9,000 patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our experienced, friendly and busy patient services department. We are looking for a flexible and reliable individual with excellent communication skills and customer services experience.

Your duties may involve:

  • Dealing with all general enquiries, explaining procedures and making new and follow-up appointments.
  • Using your own judgment and communication skills ensuring that patients with no prior appointment but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner.
  • Receiving and making telephone calls as required. Diverting calls and taking messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery.

Qualifications

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
