Applications are invited for the post of Medical Laboratory Support Worker to work in the Blood Sciences Laboratory at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro.

The job purpose is to provide pre and post analytical technical, clerical & data entry support and reception cover as part of a laboratory team.

Previous Laboratory & keyboard experience (ideally in an employment setting) and clerical experience, is desirable. NHS and reception experience is desirable. You must have CSE / GCSE in 4 subjects including Maths, Science and English.

This is a part- time post working 18.75 hours per week. A flexible attitude to working hours is essential. Hours are currently within a framework of 08:00 - 20:00 including weekend and Bank Holiday working, these hours are under constant review due to the changing needs of the Blood Sciences Department.
