Mechanical Test Lead (Medical Device)

Contract (Outside IR35) - Rate is negotiable

Test engineer requirements:

Knowledge of Design of Experiments best practices or standards internal test lab setup, protocols and process.
Analysing detailed requirements to create complex test procedures to evaluate design maturity of sub-assemblies and complete products
Executing test procedures and creating detailed test reports
Translating test data into useful and manageable information, to be used to enhance designs
Creating detailed defect reports and collaborating with the product development team until resolution
Identifying problematic/high complexity areas that require additional testing
Ensuring testing is completed to defined deadlines
Supporting the software and electronic test teams when required
Repeatability and reproducibility Reliability testing
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Be proactive and able to manage own workload with a view to continuous improvement within the wider team
Experience using Labview (essential)
Setting up test rigs and designing test fixtures
Medical Device experience
