About The Role

We are excited to share our brand new opportunity to join the team as our Mechanical Technician at our Test and Calibration depot in Teesside

As our Mechanical Technician your daily role will include;

Working at our friendly National Calibration Centre with our skilled team you’ll calibrate , service and repair mechanical pressure testing equipment.

The candidate should ideally have some mechanical knowledge, hand tool experience as servicing and replacing of parts on compressors and hydraulic pumps will be an essential part of the role.

You will also be responsible for fault diagnosis and minor maintenance, ensuring that your service records are completed accurately in order that calibration certificates can be generated for our customers.

A great team player and communicator you’ll be self-motivated, with the drive to deliver an excellent service for our customers whilst working in a safe and tidy work environment.

What You Will Need To Bring To The Role
  • Extensive experience of calibrating and maintaining and mechanical equipment
  • Ideally you will have experience of working with similar equipment in a workshop environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective planning and organising skills with strong attention to detail and close adherence to Company standards and procedure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
You may be required to travel to customer sites and this may also involve the occasional overnight stay.
