Your new company

Site supervisor needed at HMP Erlestoke, located in Wiltshire, the prison is Category C and holds adult male sentenced offenders.

Your new role

As a site supervisor you will lead and manage the shifts to deliver planned & reactive maintenance and other support as required. This includes the management of customer interface within a designed area of an estate; ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day running of the sites, and provision of a consistent strong link with customers, guaranteeing appropriate and responsive reactions to address any and all client concerns.

The current rate of this position is £22.00 p/h (inclusive of holiday) You’ll be working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30)

Duties
  • To be responsible for ensuring all mechanical and other systems as required by the site manager, are maintained in alignment with the service specification, industry best practice and regulatory requirements including business led compliance activities.
  • To take accountability for the supervision of all staff within their area of responsibility and other staff as required.
  • Ensure all activities are effectively prioritised.
  • To positively contribute to the building and development of a culture at the prison with excellent customer service.
What you’ll need to succeed

All candidates will be subject to the appropriate security checks prior to taking the role, including DBS checks. You will need an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in plumbing and appropriate references.
