We are actively looking for a Mechanical Services Engineer to join a local authority based in Shropshire on a permanent basis. In return you will receive, hybrid working, flexible hours, 23 days annual leave rising to 31 days plus bank holidays. As the Mechanical Services Engineer, you will be: Produce designs and specifications and supervise contracts for mechanical building services in new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects Give wide ranging advice and managing, leading and coordinating the delivery, procurement, monitoring of mechanical services projects and programmes. Undertaking condition surveys of mechanical equipment and installations in Council and privately owned buildings. Advising on repair & maintenance requirements and preparing cost plans and programmes for the work. Experience and qualifications: A qualification in mechanical engineering Degree level is essential Membership of IET or similar (or working towards membership) Experience of designing mechanical installations within buildings including schools is essential We are keen to see CVs from Mechanical Services Engineer and M&E Engineer.
