Boardrm Recruitment is working alongside one of the UK’s largest waste management companies as they seek additional colleagues in the Middlesbrough area to join their team.

This opportunity is for a time-served, competent, qualified electrician to work in a medium to heavy-set industrial equipment/ environment.

Part of a wider team of technicians, engineers, electrical and/or mechanical, you will be a strong team player. As part of the team, you will work alongside other skilled fitters, work on mechanical breakdowns, PPM, maintenance etc., to ensure equipment is safe and working correctly.

What the day/ night of an electrical technician requires.

  • Fault finding (electrical/ mechanical).
  • Electrical installation
  • Cable glanding.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of drives and inverters.
  • Motor three phase and single phase.
  • PLC experience/awareness.
  • Working knowledge of sensors, limits, and safety circuits.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician is mandatory due to the nature of the role and requirements.

  • Basic salary £42,000
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Work Pattern: 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off. 2 shifts days, 2 shifts nights. All shifts 7 – 7
  • 20 days paid holiday.
