Location: Bishop AucklandShift Pattern: 2 Shift Pattern

Due to the nature of their work, they have successfully worked with the pandemic, going from a £5 Million turnover to circa £18million in just two years.   • Job Description Of a Maintenance EngineerTypical duties involve:-- Manage Safe Systems of Work and Statutory Inspections for the Plant.
  • Facilities upkeep manufacturing site including Building Fabric, Manufacturing Process and Grounds Maintenance.
  • Project management, introduce new machines and processes.
  • Represent the Engineering function in the daily production meeting.
  • Manage a Total Productive Maintenance schedule to include Reactive, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Lean leader to drive improvement of machine performance and 5S.
  • RequirementsSkills & experience of a Maintenance Engineer- IOSH or NEBOSH Safety.
  • Multi-Skilled electrical bias & mechanical skills
  • Experienced in working with/managing contractors.
  • Evidence of driving improvement in Key Performance Indicators.
  • Leading Lean programs.
  • Other Skills/Abilities- Automation background an advantage.
  • Solidworks drawing skills an advantage.
  • PLC skills an advantage.
  • Ideally degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
