Ideally in some form of maintenance or fitting or servicing role gained in an industrial or manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesThis is a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter position, working 12 hour shifts rotation of days & nights.Working in a team of 3-4 Engineers, days are more reactive, nights are proactive involving PPMs, Continuous Improvement and Project Work.Your Role Will Include
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
  • Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
  • Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
  • The machinery will be made up and you will deal with belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc. Anyone with mechanical skills in some of these areas would be highly desirable.
