Shifts – Three Day Shifts (6:00 - 14:00, 8:00 – 16:00 and 13:45 - 21:00)

The Company

Our client is giving you the chance, as a mechanical maintenance engineer, to work for a company that operates in the FMCG/chemical industry. As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will have to work on a state-of-the-art site that is going to be seeing investment levels of up to 50m in the coming years!

The Role

As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting both planned maintenance while also responding to breakdowns
  • Carrying out mechanical work on components including pumps, pipes, valves, gearboxes and conveyors
  • Managing your own reliability projects

Requirements

As a mechanical maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • You to have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
  • Comfortable fault finding and swapping out different mechanical components
  • Previous background in a manufacturing environment
