To apply for the role, you must have mechanical fitting/maintenance experience. You need to demonstrate experience with hydraulics and pneumatics and must be able to ARC weld. Those with steam boiler experience will also hold a considerable advantage although this is not essential. Candidates also need a relevant qualification.

The Role In Brief

The role is 100% mechanical. You will work in a small team of fitters under the leadership of a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment. You’ll be working with hydraulics, pneumatics, pipework, boilers, motors, gear boxes, valves etc This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased candidate to join a friendly team who can offer in a stable role in renowned manufacturer.
  • Reactive and planned maintenance

  • Shift cover when needed
  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, pipework, boilers, motors, gear boxes, valves etc
  • 8am to 5pm, some shift cover maybe required occasionally The person required:
  • Mechanical maintenance/fitting experience
  • Hold a relevant qualification
  • ARC Welding experience
  • Comes from any manufacturing, industrial, production or similar background
