A highly-reputable Machinery Manufacturer are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are globally recognised for their Special Purpose Mahinery and have grown the Engineering department substantially over the last 12 months. They have projects booked in for the foreseeable future, so this is a great time to become part of an established and growing Engineering firm.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will take the lead on your own designs and generate ideas for the companies new product range. The role will consist of full machinery design, GA & layout drawings, technical calculations, BOM’s and liaising with clients and suppliers.

As the company continue to expand, natural progression into Senior Engineer positions is not uncommon. Applicants from a machinery design background will be favoured.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
  • Degree or HNC/D in Engineering
  • Strong 3D CAD skills
  • Special Purpose Machinery and/or Rotating equipment design experience
  • Strong draughting skills
  • Engineering calculations
  • Ability to work independently
