As an established M&E Contractor based in Newark is now looking to expand their Mechanical department by recruiting for a number of positions including a Mechanical Contracts Manager.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Mechanical Director in a close-knit team. The team all work together on projects and are flexible in doing lots of different aspects of Mechanical Engineer incorporating elements of Design and Estimating as well.

Work is varied and is likely to be across the Commercial, Industrial and Retail sectors and typically values between £250,000 and 4.0M.

Duties And Responsibilities As Mechanical Contracts Manager
  • Attend client and internal meetings from pre-contract, progress, commissioning to post contract.
  • Management of multiple projects.
  • Assist with design, lead the procurement process, and assist with surveying, oversee installations and commissioning processes.
  • Oversee Health and Safety, site engineering staff and both supervisory staff / Sub Contractors.
  • A good understanding of forms or Main and Sub Contract documents.
  • Assist in finalising all accounts.
Requirements
  • You will previously have worked in the M&E industry as an Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Contract Manager.
  • Ideally you would be qualified to ONC/HNC/HND in Building services.
  • Being able to run multiple jobs at once.
