We are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our fantastic team at Values Academy, Nuneaton. As a Maths Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, engaging and challenging KS3 and KS4 students in the classroom and beyond.

You must be motivated, have excellent classroom management skills, be able to adapt and differentiate lessons for groups and individuals, and be resilient.

The role is suitable for an NQT, or experienced teacher, salary is commensurate and dependent upon experience.

The role itself will involve the delivery of Maths lessons, to students in KS3 and KS4 who have social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will need to be confident teaching the subject up to GCSE level in addition to tailoring work to suit individual needs. Class sizes are approximately 4-6 pupils with Learning Mentors to support.

As part of the role, you will be expected to plan lessons and mark completed work. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge in addition to SEND frameworks and P-Levels, you will need to ensure that the lessons delivered are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

  • Hold a Teaching qualification
  • SEND Teaching experience
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
