Materials Administrator

Hybrid working (after training) – office based in Rochester, Kent

Salary: £26k-£28k

Permanent position

The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Materials Administrator to join an established, worldwide professional team. You will be responsible for material planning using a MRP program to ensure the availability of material for the manufacture for products.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure Works Orders are serialised including clear job material shortages
  • Manage work order closure, tracking and batching size of work orders
  • Review and process MRP exception messages
  • Liaise with Procurement, Inward Goods, Stores, and the Shop Floor
  • Perform the Inter Org transfer of material
  • Control of material issued to vendors
  • Manage rework order release and internal allocation
  • Monitor Return to Vendor material

Key Skills required:

  • Must be able to use own initiative
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer focus
  • Experience of stock control desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Educated to GCSE level
