Our client is a global manufacturer of a range of highly engineered mechanical and electrical assemblies.

They are currently seeking an ambitious experienced Materials Manager at one of their sites in south Birmingham (B32) to

Manage the companys Inventory in line with best practice for storage and distribution.

Manage the supply of materials into the business by way of a skilled and resourced material control team.

Provide suppliers with purchase orders and schedules to align materials with production plans and SIOP forecast

Provide a trained and motivated team of professionals to administer the receiving, storage, picking and delivery of materials from supplier to manufacturing point of use

Candidates will be suitably qualified with a Materials and supply chain background preferably within automotive / rail / aerospace or yellow goods.

In return for your commitment salaries in a band from £40 - 45,000 per year plus benefits are available together with excellent career progression opportunities and long-term prospects.
