We are looking for a talented Marketo Automation Specialist who will manage the development and delivery of Marketo campaigns and strategies, leading a small European Marketing Automation team. The successful candidate will have extensive Marketo experience and will pursue continued learning of Marketing Automation best practices to enhance the execution of Tech Data and Vendor branded campaigns and maximize customer value and campaign results. This is a senior role and will support multiple B2B business units and digital marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy for modern marketing campaigns based on optimal Marketing Automation processes
  • Act as a strategic advisor back to the Tech Data business and vendor partners
  • Manage all areas of Marketo campaign creation, delivery and execution including:
  • Create and develop strategies for PACE vendor and customer
  • Drive monetisation through the team via successful automated campaign journeys and personalised customer touchpoints
  • QA process for emails, landing pages, forms, and other automation pieces
  • Data hygiene and system maintenance
  • List management (Data List and imports)
  • Drive program performance, optimisations and reporting structure
  • Drive the strategy, customer journey design and content development for new campaigns
  • Support program development for the business unit
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in automation
  • An experienced leader and developer of people
  • Expert in Marketo, knowledge of Hubspot, Pardot or Eloqua
  • Monitoring and using data to adopt data-driven marketing decisions and campaign plans
  • Desirable - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business/Marketing Operations or equivalent experience
  • Problem solving ability and consideration of process improvements
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail
