MARKETING ASSISTANT

12 MONTH FTC

The Marketing Assistant will join the Consumer Beauty Division for Coty to work with on the Global cosmetics brand - Max Factor . The Marketing Assistant will support the Max Factor Brand Equity Team (1x Senior Brand Manager and 1x Senior Director) across the entire brand portfolio on a 12-month fixed term basis.

You will be assisting the Senior Brand Manager in the development and execution of brand plans that deliver profitable business growth through insight-led strategy.

Key Responsibilities

General
  • Support the Brand team in all day-to-day brand responsibilities..
  • Manage mailing and couriers, coordinating all brand team mail and couriers to agencies, retailers and ad hoc.
  • Other ad hoc requests to support brand teams as required including: competitor deep dives, campaign ideas, other research & analysis projects.
Point of Sale
  • Develop Point of Sale materials for in-store for certain projects.
Budget Management
  • Support with the brand marketing budget, raising POs, helping to resolve supplier invoice queries and ensuring all budget trackers are maintained correctly.
Presentations
  • Support the brand team in preparation for big presentations by ordering sample products, room decoration and creating any other necessary marketing materials (e.g. booklets, posters etc.)
  • Present Max Factor brand inductions to new starters in the business.
Asset Development
  • Assist in day-to-day project management needs for key campaign assets (print, TV, PR, digital).
  • Assist is the development and creation of “ad hoc” creative assets to be used across the brand’s multiple digital touch points (online, e-com, social media).
Asset Management
  • Manage brand assets and folders downloading key documents, campaign toolkits, pack shots and saving to campaign folders in the drive. Be the team expert on DAM database.
Competitor Watching
  • Track competitor activity and industry trends, sharing key learnings with internal teams.
  • Present analysis at monthly brand review, including tracking category, brand and sub- segment performance and defining the underlying performance root causes.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
  • Currently studying for a 3rd level qualification
  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a pro-active attitude and flexible approach.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships and be a good team player.
  • High level of numeracy, marketing sense, PC skills, maturity and communication skills.
  • Experience in Indesign/Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Able to demonstrate a creative flair!
