Position Summary:

The EMEA Marketing Operations Manager will be the new internal partner for facilitating the marketing operations activities for the international marketing team. You will support the data collection, analysis, measurement, continual research and implementation of best practises to improve the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies to grow the international business.

This role will require an innovative person who is inherently good at leveraging data and marketing technology to deliver measurable outcomes. You will be technically savvy, ambitious and have the determination to drive the development of the company’s marketing automation strategy, tools and data to accelerate the performance of the international marketing campaigns. Supported by the marketing teams in Europe and US, you will establish yourself as the marketing operations expert for EMEA & APAC. You will provide the highest standard of usage of marketing data and technology, and influence and execute on the marketing operations strategy. The ideal candidate is expected to bring ideas, hands-on experience and a desire to develop and build a best practise marketing automation platform. The role will also require supporting the reporting and budgeting activities for the international marketing team.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and manage all automated marketing campaigns/workflows and be the internal company resource on all things related to Marketo for the EMEA & APAC marketing team
  • Define and manage the marketing operations strategy for EMEA & APAC and develop a 12-month roadmap to support the production of marketing programmes
  • Support EMEA & APAC marketing campaign operations (design, build, execute), including segmentation, testing, lead scoring, acceptable criteria, asset utilisation and reporting
  • Work with the US marketing operations and analytics staff to provide reporting and analytics for the EMEA & APAC marketing and business development teams
  • Help inform the global marketing leadership team with the measurement and progress of campaigns against department goals
  • Provide administration of the EMEA & APAC marketing budget and associated reporting to ensure accurate allocation and accrual of the international marketing budget
  • Work with the marketing teams to develop a plan to manage the company’s database, including stewardship of database health and growth, and increase email opt-in rates for Europe and Japan

What You Will Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing
  • 2+ years’ experience in an operations or data focused role
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms, Marketo and Salesforce an advantage
  • Experience in data management and segmentation techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to plan, make and communicate sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and cooperate with all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentations skills and a commitment to collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
