Main Purpose of the Post


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive marketing professional, to work in conjunction with the Faculty recruitment team, alongside wider directorate colleagues, to help meet ambitious recruitment targets and to raise the profile of the Faculty and its achievements to all stakeholder groups.

The Faculty Marketing, Recruitment and International team are a positive, hardworking and innovative team, who are dedicated to driving the Faculty – and University – towards achieving its strategic objectives.

The ability to develop integrated marketing plans based on available data is essential, as is the confidence to implement them. Candidates should be highly organised, proactive and capable of working independently.

Main duties include:

  • Support the development of and take the lead in the delivery of the marketing plans relating to the area/markets you are responsible for.
  • Responsibility for the brand and sub brands of the University across the marketing channels which relate to your area/markets.
  • Using data to identify marketing opportunities and activities to advance your area/market.
  • Create and deliver the targeted integrated marketing campaigns necessary externally and internally in terms of recruitment marketing, business marketing and research marketing.
  • Work closely with digital colleagues to deliver innovative and technologically advanced ways of marketing online.
  • Project manage marketing activity, for example promotional material, online microsites, and events.
  • Ensure a bilingual approach to all Marketing activity.

Qualifications

  • A degree or relevant professional qualification or equivalent and relevant work experience.

Experience

  • Experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing plans, taking accountability for their successful completion, measurement and analysis.
  • Excellent written communication skills to include the creation of content for websites and social media platforms.
  • Excellent Digital and IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office systems and the ability to use various online content management systems, advertising and analytics tools.
  • Experience of engaging staff, working across several departments and at all levels to achieve successful outcomes in line with marketing aims
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills with experience of managing budgets.
  • Evidence of excellent customer service provision and using data to enhance marketing campaigns that fit their audiences.
  • Evidence of independently solving problems by managing challenging scenarios through marketing channels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different sections providing support to team members.
  • Creative and highly motivated
