About the position

The Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering activity to attract new customers to the Society as well as growing an engaged membership through the further use of Society products and services. The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive with demonstrable experience in driving return on investment alongside well-controlled budget optimisation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Implementation of the Marketing and Customer Communications to support our objectives, in particular customer growth and engagement.
  • Managing marketing budgets and spend appropriately whilst measuring and tracking performance.
  • Working with the HR Manager to develop and implement an Internal Communications Strategy.
  • Owning and leading the social media channels ensuring relevant and timely content is posted through working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and updating our websites, ensuring the content is up to date and relevant.
  • Providing marketing support to business projects such as new product developments or change projects.
  • Support in the management of the portfolio of existing partners, sponsors and suppliers and to seek new partners as appropriate.

  • Experience in driving customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Strong track record of management of agencies and third parties to achieve results
  • Strong budget management and optimisation experience
  • Negotiating skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing third parties to achieve performance objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
  • Qualifications – Degree and Marketing qualification (CIM)
  • Strong communication, organizational and strategic thinking skills.
