My client is an established, fast-paced Financial Services provider, specialising in helping SME businesses find the best finance solution from their panel of independent lenders and banks, whilst providing the highest levels of service and flexibility. They are very reputable in their field and a profitable, growing business employing over 50 people and we have an exciting new opportunity to join them as a Marketing Manager based in their offices near Oldham.

This is an exciting role which will offer a large amount of autonomy for the experienced individual to come in and take control. Working closely with the team and external stakeholders, you will be able to shape the marketing vision

Responsibilities:

  • Development of the business’ marketing strategy, plans, campaigns and content that resonates with the target audience
  • Build relationships and gain buy-in from Management team
  • Ensure all campaigns are analysed against ROI and communicated on a monthly basis to management team
  • Manage all marketing communications and brand awareness for the business including; customer and prospect communications (email, direct mail and social) sponsorship, exhibitions, and all sales support literature
  • Work with several 3rd party suppliers including design, print, event management, and data suppliers in order to deliver a number of corporate campaigns and materials.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity making relevant comparisons
  • Working closely with the digital agency to assist in the development of the website, and social media plans, along with producing and analysing results to maximise value on a regular basis

Key Skills:

  • Confident copywriting and editing skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Linkedin Ads
  • Agency relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of paid search techniques and SEO best practices
  • The ability to work collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in marketing trends and techniques
  • Commercial and results driven ability to develop and deliver marketing material that is relevant and appropriate to its target audience
