The department

Distribution is responsible for the marketing, promotion and ongoing development of our product offering, for both institutional and intermediary channels globally. Distribution is a trusted partner to our clients and we enable investment solutions through active management. Areas within Distribution consist of Sales, Global Marketing, Global Product and Investment Trusts.

Overview of the role

You will be responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of Janus Henderson and its clients’ companies. Our aim is to promote the 12 investment trusts managed by Janus Henderson and their respective fund managers (see

Duties and responsibilities

You Will
  • Maintain and develop the investment trust pages within the Janus Henderson UK website, ensuring all data and product information is correct and up to date. Being the first point of contact for any issues you will work closely with the Development, IT and CRM teams so as to have a constant understanding of processes and development.
  • Be responsible for the proofreading, editing, and compliance sign off process for all content ahead of distribution.
  • Distribute content (articles, videos, podcasts and whitepapers) via the website, media agencies, email and third-party content platforms utilising the performance analysis conducted.
  • Arrange events and webinars, including livestream web-hosting, email invitations, and compliance of post-event video production.
  • Work closely with the factsheet team in ensuring monthly factsheets are correct and appropriately distributed.
  • Export, collate and analyse marketing performance data for insight/trend patterns and identify efficiencies. This includes monitoring and analysing google analytics data, the Investment Trust reporting dashboard, email broadcasting data and third-party data sources.
  • Collate and input monthly management information, e.g. share register information via RD:IR reports, website data, etc. whilst identifying trends or patterns that will inform the marketing strategy.
  • Build and deploy email campaigns using email broadcast software, this includes updating and improving templates and building automated journeys. Also, must maintain email database.
  • Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the central budget as well as the budget of each Trust. You will advise the Investment Content Manager on allocated spend and undergo a quarterly and year-end budget reconciliation process.
  • Liaise regularly with the other members of the marketing and sales team, informing them of new initiatives and distributed content, ensuring they have the opportunity to leverage this for their needs.

Technical Skills And Qualifications
  • Preferably studied a marketing, or marketing related, undergraduate course.
  • Experience in a Marketing Manager role, including online content management and email systems
  • Good Microsoft skills, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent organisational/time-management skills.
