The Role:

As a Marketing Executive,you will report to the Head of Procurement, Technical & Marketing to help grow and raise awareness of the brand.

You’ll contribute to developing the marketing strategy whilst planning and implementing the activity needed to achieve business goals.

  • Your responsibilities will include:Write engaging copy content for website pages, email (through MailChimp), social media and campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including blog posts.
  • Working with Procurement and Technical to routinely maintain and refresh the website content
  • Engage and post frequently on all Social Media channels (especially Instagram) and develop LinkedIn to maintain a platform presence
  • Create, deliver and drive digital marketing campaigns using relevant platforms appropriate to the customer base
  • Monitor marketing campaign progress and assess the results to ascertain ROI
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Quality Assurance to produce the main and seasonal brochures (Valentines/Easter/Mothering Sunday & Christmas)
  • Create communications on the back of approved promotions, short-dated stock and/or excess stock
  • Work with other teams to create brochures/flyers, provide samples and brief the sales teams
  • Feedback on competitor activity (products & services), monitor, analyse and recommend market trends
  • Investigate PR opportunities, including but not limited to partnerships with industry associations, suggest press release content to drive PR on new products and events
  • Develop relationships with press and media to raise awareness of products
  • Support with management of an event calendar that can be communicated to the wider business
  • About You:Experience of WordPress, CMS, Canva and MailChimp or any other digital platforms including social media
  • Ideally a degree which includes marketing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing the delivery of marketing communications through various channels such as print, digital, e-marketing, websites and social media
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas to solve problems
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant applications including Microsoft Office and Acrobat
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills.
