Job Role:
Wilton Bradley is looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join its growing Marketing & E-Commerce team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing this is a diverse and varied role that will see you working across a portfolio of both established and emerging toy and leisure brands, such as Osprey Action Sports, Lay-Z-Spa and Bestway.

The role, based on the outskirts of Newton Abbot, will focus on Social Media management, copywriting, marketing projects, campaigns, and communications to drive B2C and B2B sales.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media marketing, copywriting and content production, with a can-do attitude. You will be hands-on and prepared to get stuck in with everything, whilst being keen to learn and develop. There is the opportunity to progress to more senior roles in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Working closely with Brand Managers to manage our social communities and moderators.
  • Day to day monitoring, managing, and moderating of brand accounts. It may be necessary to monitor/respond out of office hours.
  • Working with Brand Managers to manage social media content calendars, ensuring content is aligned with wider marketing communications.
  • Planning social media content – to include copywriting, briefing of assets and scheduling.
  • Regular reporting on social media activities.

Brand & Product Content Creation

  • Assisting with the production of assets, documents, and literature, including offering copywriting support with B2C email communications, trade marketing, brand presentations, case studies and press releases.
  • Creating, proof-reading, and editing copy for various marketing channels, always ensuring consistent tone of voice.
  • Working with Brand Managers on briefing, developing, and managing photo and video content.

General

  • Supporting the department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing activities across the team.
  • Undertaking key marketing tasks and projects as required.
  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to Health & Safety and Quality Management.
  • Any other tasks deemed by the Company to be necessary for the successful completion of the role.

Person Specification:

  • Passionate about the power of social media and communities, understand the various tones and best practices across each platform and how to navigate brand voice.
  • Must be an enthusiastic self-starter. Able to independently move projects forward, prioritise tasks, make decisions and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong organisational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as solid copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social media, digital, and email marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word / PowerPoint / Excel.
