Our client delivers award-winning mainly virtual live training sessions and programmes to corporate and public-sector organisations working with some top name companies and brands. They have a first-class reputation for quality, have many long-term customers and are known and respected for their pioneering work.

This role will be mainly working remote, they are open to discussing flexible working to fit with the needs of company and employee’s lifestyle. They meet as a team daily on MS Teams and face to face at least twice a month. Staff can work from a small base near Stroud from time to time if they wish. They do also have use of a shared 9-5:30pm business space at Kestrel Court in Quedgeley

Overview

The Marketing Executive is responsible to ensure all tasks are done, not necessarily by themselves. Currently, the support comes from a selection of expert freelance associates who focus on AdWords, SEO and data work/spreadsheets.

Areas Of Responsibility

You will assist in the planning, writing, and sending of direct marketing campaigns to a database of contacts. Full training on the Content Management System will be provided. Writing blogs (often co-writing with a subject matter expert), Google Ads and other marketing copy as required. Full training will be provided. Ongoing maintenance and copy-writing for the website will also be required.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of social media channels
  • Maintain and update the company’s website to ensure that content is fresh, relevant, engaging and linked to marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for the creation of blog posts and newsletters
  • Identifying, researching and purchasing of new data
  • Creation and implementation of email marketing schedule
  • Management of contacts database and building of sector and job focused mailing lists
  • Be responsible for driving new website projects
  • Manage external resource e.g., Designer, SEO and paid search consultants
  • Planning, designing and implementing sector, job focused and customer marketing campaigns
  • Track, monitor and create monthly management information reports that include tracking across
the offline and online activities
  • Maintain and manage the database using its automation facilities for email campaigns
  • Assist when required with office management, sales support, training logistics, live on-line
meetings and events

Upcoming new projects are establishing a YouTube channel using existing and new videos and starting webinar ‘forum’ events for existing and new customers for exploration of topical issues.

To apply for this role, you must have previous marketing experience and ideally with some social media experience.

Salary – Approx. £28k but this is negotiable depending on experience + Profit related bonus

Hours – Monday – Friday – 9am – 5.30pm – Fully remote – Part Time hours also considered – min 3 days
