Launching 10 years ago, the company’s refreshing approach to pet food has won prestigious industry awards including “Best New Dog Food” with the introduction of its air-dried complete food. The brand has an exciting growth strategy, with big ambitions and is looking to recruit a Marketing & Customer Service Coordinator that is keen to grow and develop their skills.

The Coordinator will work closely with our customer service and marketing team, with the responsibility to aid the implementation of the marketing and sales strategy - through building our trade directory, and increasing leads, driving traffic, and increasing online conversion. They will also be responsible for ensuring customers receive a first-class experience, being the first point of contact.

About the role:

We are looking for a Coordinator to join our team in our head office, based in Wetherby, Thorp Arch Trading Estate.

The ideal candidate will be personable, deadline-driven, and flexible to changing priorities. This is a huge opportunity to join our dynamic business.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Be the main point of contact for customers – phone, email & social media.
• Manage and respond to customer queries and requirements as they arise.
• Monitor any complaints and compliments.
• Assisting with social media.
• Work with marketing team to deliver marketing and sales plan.
• Create content for use in various formats - including artwork for adverts, banners, social media etc.
• Organising and attending shows and events - including weekends.
• Be the brand champion for both quality and consumer’ needs internally.
• Ensure close working relationship with production, packing, dispatch, and sales teams.
• Updating website and online blog.
• Support the delivery of online and multichannel projects.
• Positively support and promote The Innocent Pet brands.
• General administrative tasks to support the marketing team and wider business.

The successful candidate must have:

• A genuine love of pets.
• A warm & caring communication style.
• Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Experience in a customer facing role desirable.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
• Experience in Canva desirable.
• An understanding of social media including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform desirable but not essential.
• Be self-motivated, confident, and outgoing with a genuine desire to succeed and go the extra mile.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work appropriately and work independently.
• Be a team player.
• Be passionate about their work and life, with a determined and positive spark.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
