As our Marketing Coordinator within the Brand & Communications team, you will be passionate about the values that make Seasalt what it is today and have the vision to see what our brand can become in the future. You will use your creative talents to seek out opportunities to share our love of Cornwall by helping to craft content, experiences and partnerships that are on brand and will engage and inspire our community and reach new audiences across all of our Seasalt and partner channels.


Please note this is a 4 month fixed term contract.


You’ll help us by;

  • Working with our Director and interim Brand Manager, creating and executing innovative content to support our seasonal collections and product launches with integrated campaigns and stories
  • Specifically supporting on content and experiential activity around our ‘staycation’ plans for Summer 2021 (to include our shops, partners, events and channels)
  • Updating the brand calendar and brand content tracker for your relevant area to make sure activity is visible and understandable at a glance
  • Acting as Partnership and Contributor liaison as agreed, including administration
  • Supporting on our Sustainability and Charity initiatives
  • Assisting with event planning and support – budgeting, timelines, meeting deadlines, supplying documents etc
  • Liaising with our agencies (PR and Digital PR)
  • Organising competitions and brand promotions – briefing copy, drafting terms and conditions, checking with legal, managing despatch of prizes and liaison with prize winners
  • Creating presentation documents
  • Covering some adhoc brand social media e.g. events/LIVE etc. relating to brand content/initiatives
  • Briefing adhoc copy requirements

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team;

With a relevant qualification or experience, ideally in a marketing environment. You’ll possess a strong creative eye combined with commercial acumen, able to see the bigger marketing picture and how your skills contribute to business success. An ability to brief creative assets will also be needed, plus a track record of working collaboratively and building relationships with other departments to achieve outstanding results.


With a passion for retail and fashion, you’ll be happy to get your sleeves rolled up to get the job done, as well as being hard-working, resilient and proactive. A stickler for detail, you’ll be a capable juggler of multiple projects, deadlines and priorities and always produce work to a high standard. We’re also looking for someone confident to speak to external and internal stakeholders and partners at all levels.

Please note, this role is primarily based in one of our head office locations (Falmouth or Redruth) with occasional remote working.
