Full-time (Flexible working requests will be considered)

Please note that we have moved to a hybrid way of working at our Central London office.

Q is an initiative connecting people with improvement expertise across the UK and Ireland. It is led by the Health Foundation and supported by our partners including NHS England and Improvement.

Q’s mission is to foster continuous and sustainable improvement in health and care. To achieve this, we are creating opportunities for people to come together and form a community – sharing ideas, enhancing skills and collaborating to make health and care better.

The Marketing and Communications Lead will work as part of this lively and dynamic integrated communications team, with management responsibilities for the rest of the marketing and communications roles in the team. They will oversee delivery across all marketing and communications, and develop and implement integrated communications strategies that will contribute to the achievement of Q’s objectives. They will help us grow the community, strengthen our brand, engage with partners and other stakeholders, and ultimately playing a part in bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

The successful candidate will have effective line management and planning skills, a creative and outcomes-focused approach to developing and delivering integrated communications strategies and brand marketing campaigns, and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills that’ll help them perform in a fast-evolving matrix team environment.

This is a new, fixed-term role to support the team during a busy time. We have significant ambitions for 2022, including embedding a refreshed brand and building on work to generate greater coherence and audience-focus to our communications, which comes at a time when changes in leadership require the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement to act up to cover additional areas of strategic development work across Q. For further information on the role, please refer to the job description.

This is a great opportunity for a marketing and communications professional with a passion for collaborative approaches to change, and a strong interest in improving health and care.
