Marketing & Communications Assistant | Elland | Part- Time – Excellent Benefits

Spire Elland Hospital is currently looking to recruit for a Marketing & Communications Assistant on a Part Time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic entry level opportunity to join a dynamic team who will encourage you to learn and develop new skills.

The post is for 22.5 hrs per week, ideally to be worked across 3 days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) on standard office hours. (Although this is flexible to meet business needs)

The role will support the Business Development Manager to deliver the local hospital market activity, to promote Spire Elland and Spire Dewsbury Clinic to ensure that all marketing objectives are met.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To provide support to the BDM in marketing the hospital products
  • Be responsible for the administration of targeted promotional campaigns
  • Organize mail shots and marketing communications
  • Organize and edit newsletters to staff, consultants, primary care and other stakeholder and customer groups
  • Organize and monitor stocks of marketing literature throughout the hospital patient facing areas
  • Maintain and update hospital and patient marketing literature
  • Provide overall assistance to the BDM where required and as directed

Who we’re looking for

  • Commercial experience in a marketing role - digital and traditional media and social media platforms
  • Ability to write business level English using the appropriate language together with correct grammar
  • Computer and keyboard skills, comfortable in using MS Office, Adobe and social media planning and analytical tools
  • Ability to work under pressure in a calm, professional, accurate, efficient and courteous manner
  • Ability to build a relationship with professional audiences
  • Focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Flexible, evening, weekend working as business needs dictate
