Job Purpose:

This is a regional role reporting to the Marketing Director (EMEA) and is responsible for supporting the delivery of the marketing plan in EMEA as an individual contributor.

  • Market penetration and demand generation
  • Understand the competitive and customer landscape
  • Ensure sales/marketing alignment in assigned territories and provide marketing support/expertise to respective sales teams
  • Nurturing sales ready leads to maximise chance of purchase and renewal
  • Generating demand for solutions - targeting cross and up sell opportunities
  • Develop and deliver marketing plan for assigned territories

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales Leaders in assigned territories to understand market needs
  • Develop and implement country-based marketing and communications plans, with the objectives to drive sales, enhance visibility and improve our position in respective territories
  • Accountable for full spectrum of marketing programs related to respective territories, including press releases, customer events, sponsorships, digital, comms, etc
  • Measure and report on programme/ campaign metrics and drive plans to improve results and/or address gaps
  • Partner with peers in the global marketing team to ensure development of cohesive marketing plans
  • Feed region specific inputs into global marketing and communications initiatives
  • Manage 3rd party agencies, where applicable, to ensure smooth and successful delivery on their SOW

Key Skills Required (to be successful in this role):

  • B2B regional marketing experience: Considerable hands-on experience with proven track record in using various channels to rollout marketing plans across EMEA.
  • Teamwork and collaboration: Experience working in a matrix environment with global and regional teams. Ability to establish rapport and support from peers to deliver projects, while prioritizing work and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Independent and solutions-oriented: Demonstrated success in dealing with ambiguity, resourceful, knows how to overcome barriers, proactively finds solutions to problems, has the ability to make informed decisions
  • Accountability: Get things done, takes ownership and committed to make things happen. Work with peers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully
  • Project management: Highly organised and can juggle multiple projects with accuracy, quality of work and documentation
  • Communication skills: Comfortable in presenting plans, projects and results to various stakeholders. Proactively reaches out to stakeholders to update on projects status.
  • Language capabilities: English is a key requirement, good verbal and written skills are essential. Additional languages would be a plus.
  • Flexibility in working hours: Able to accommodate working outside the “usual” working hours of his/her time zone when required, such as global team conference calls, critical projects roll-out, etc
  • Industry and market experience: Software/solutions/IT. Experience in the airline/aerospace/travel sector would be a great benefit, as with markets in EMEA
