Marketing Assistant

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing Assistant to join our global marketing team on a 12 month temporary contract.

You will be joining a fun dynamic team within a company that is innovative and forward thinking with a vision “To be the world leader in the invention, development and provision of animal diagnostic imaging equipment” by building a team of world-class experts and maintaining an inspiring working environment in which they can excel.

You will use the skills you have learned from your marketing studies and on the job experience to support the marketing team with all aspects of the marketing mix, to meet the overall marketing strategy and the business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• A varied role, providing many opportunities to further develop a full range of marketing skills.
• Communication through emailing platforms to both end users and distributors
• Managing and updating intranet platform for distributors
• Supporting and communicating with distributors worldwide
• Assisting in creating content for the company websites
• Maintaining and updating UK, IE, RSA and International company websites using a content management system (Umbraco)
• Support in the organisation of key exhibitions and events to promote the IMV imaging brand and its products
• Support in the launch of new products worldwide
• Undertaking market research and assessment of results
• Assisting the Marketing Manager in creating reports and analysing data
• Developing and delivering an update on your regions marketing activities for that month to be delivered to the wider business
• Creating a wide range of marketing materials for the UK, IE, RSA and RoW markets to deliver upon the overall marketing strategy – webinars, product leaflets, clinical material in conjunction with the clinical and sales teams
• Development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to build customer awareness and drive sales leads worldwide, through PR, advertising, direct mail, e-mailers and social media
• Work with the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to prepare, manage, evaluate and improve performance on digital advertising campaigns – PPC/Social Media advertising and on trade platforms
• Build relationships and partnerships with key marketplace partners and suppliers
• Undertaking competitor research
• Liaising with creative agencies
• Driving internal and external communications for the marketing team
• Ordering and management of exhibition stands, literature and promotional items
• Any other marketing and administrative tasks to support the marketing department

Education/ experience

• Degree qualified, preferably in Marketing or similar background
• Previous marketing experience a minimum of 1-2 years
• Fluency in another language desirable – German preferable
• Previous website content management experience would be advantageous e.g., Umbraco, Wordpress
• Digital experience - social media and campaign production/management across digital channels
• Digital advertising experience particularly on PPC and Social Media
• An understanding of HubSpot Marketing Automation
