Our design division are now looking for a confident, enthusiastic self-starter with excellent written skills and a creative mindset to join our business as a Marketing Assistant. Based in Newark, this is a great opportunity to build a career in marketing with a leading global professional services firm of over 5000 consultants and service providers.

This role would best suit a recent graduate, ideally with some relevant experience and a commitment to a long-term career in marketing with an adaptive, flexible, and organised approach.

This is an exciting place to be and the team works in a fast-paced environment and is often required to turn around content to tight deadlines. You will have access to all the necessary support to build a long-term career path within the marketing team of a great business.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate divisional marketing activities in line with brand and tone of voice guidelines
  • Keep a record of divisional activity and liaise with central marketing team on upcoming plans
  • Identify content opportunities for social media, website, company intranet and press releases including: project updates, significant wins, new hires and other key content that promotes design service offering
  • Content development including: content research, copywriting, proof reading, sourcing imagery, managing approvals and organising publication
  • Act as key point of contact and manage content contributions to support central marketing campaigns and bid activity
  • Organise event presence and promotion including: graduate fairs, networking events, conferences and client entertainment initiatives
  • Support the development of marketing materials including: client presentations, service line brochures and event materials
  • Manage professional memberships and seek out appropriate publicity opportunities
  • Work with technical leads to develop project case studies
  • Support technical leads to develop and update CVs and LinkedIn profiles in line with best practice and company guidance
  • Organise and coordinate professional project photography

About you:

  • Enthusiastic self-starter who is keen to learn and develop within a global business
  • A relevant degree (Marketing or related field) or equivalent work experience
  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A strong communicator and confident to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Strong time management and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
  • Work on own initiative and not be afraid to make decisions
  • Creative thinker
  • Experience in developing content for social media channels
  • Experience using MS Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
