Charity Bank is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the implementation of our marketing strategies to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and propel the mission of Charity Bank forward.
- The role involves creating content, managing social media, supporting the website, assisting with events, and ensuring brand consistency.
- The ideal candidate is eager to learn, familiar with digital marketing, and possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
- While experience is desirable, a proactive and creative mindset, along with a passion for marketing and Charity Bank’s mission, are crucial.

- Occasional travel and overnight stays.
Key Accountabilities
Content Creation:
- Assist in the creation of engaging and impactful content for various channels, including social media, video, email newsletters, and the website.
- Collaborate with internal teams and engage with our customers to gather information and capture stories that highlight the positive impact of Charity Bank’s work.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and curate content for Charity Bank’s social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Website Support:
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of Charity Bank’s website content.
Event Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, both online and offline, to promote Charity Bank’s initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and provide on-site support during events.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
- Support the creation of visually appealing and on-brand assets.
Marketing Team Support
- Supporting the wider Marketing Team with other projects as required.
Person Specification
Experience Essential:
- Eager to learn and passionate.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
Experience Desirable:
- Experience (internship or otherwise) in marketing or a relevant role.
