Marketing and Communications Officer

Temporary, 18 hours per week, Term Time plus 2 weeks

Salary: NJC Grade 8 £24,982 - £27,741 per annum FTE

(Actual salary in the region of £10,798-£11,990 )

Faringdon Learning Trust are delighted to be recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Officer with responsibility for marketing and communications across the Trust. This is a new position and allows the postholder to create and actively progress the development of a marketing and communications strategy, delivering to both internal and external stakeholders of the Trust.

The post holder will be an effective outward facing advocate and representative of the Trust working on behalf of the Board of Trustees in supporting the achievement of the Trust’s strategic priorities.

We are looking for a candidate who:

· Can develop and implement an effective communications strategy to support the Trust’s ‘support – challenge – collaborate’ ethos, promoting the sharing of ideas and the celebration of success.

· Has demonstrable experience working with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to the business including employees, parents, the general public, media outlets, etc.

· Create and manage FLT’s digital presence on social media, managing our online and offline communication and responsibility for updating the FLT website with regular and appropriate content

· Support our Trust schools as required with the provision of promotional material, press releases, school signage, adapting content to reflect the schools individual characteristics and identity

The post holder will be required to visit multiple school sites all of which are currently within 10 miles of Faringdon as part of their job role.
