Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art has exhibited the work of over 500 different international artists and received over 8 million visitors through its door since opening in 2022. BALTIC invites visitors to experience art, events, family activities, a library, shop and spectacular views of the NewcastleGateshead Quayside.

Baltic is recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Manager to effectively plan and manage campaigns to attract visits, diversify audiences and develop customer loyalty. The successful candidate will have experience of devising, delivering and evaluating imaginative and successful marketing campaigns. They will have experience of managing staff and/or a team and overseeing the day to day marketing.

They will be able to implement data-driven targeted marketing and have skills in copywriting, managing creative and evaluating the performance of marketing activity. The post holder will be confident in data management, digital communications and have a creative flair for communicating with a variety of audience segments. The postholder will be able to deliver campaigns from A to Z, analyse marketing performance and creatively respond to the challenges of audiences and emerging customer patterns.

They will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to inclusive approaches and the ability to manage staff and outputs effectively.
