Reporting to: Marketing and Communications Director

100AND10% is a full-service marketing agency that works for a large client base in the sport, health and fitness sectors including Life Fitness, the English Institute of Sport, Parkwood Leisure, Lifetime Training, Myzone and Jetts 247 Fitness.

We develop integrated marketing and communications strategies for these clients and other brands, and we have an excellent opportunity for
an energetic, proactive individual to take on the role of Marketing and Communications Executive and join our team.

The role will focus on supporting a number of key client accounts and include implementing marketing strategies for our clients, supporting the development of creative, integrated campaigns and helping to build our clients’ brands and achieve their commercial aims.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting in the development and delivery of marketing communications strategies for a range of clients
• Building relationships with key clients and working with them day-to-day
• Working against a set of deliverables with the need to prioritise workflows and understand lead times to hit agreed deadlines
• Developing and writing promotional materials, press releases and other audience and channel specific communications
• Developing digital communications and content creation
• Developing social media messaging, content creation and delivery
• Delivering marketing content for events, including the support of some event management and event logistics
• Communicating with clients to discuss projects / progress and provide updates as part of good practice account / client management

Suitable candidates will have:

· A minimum of two years’ previous experience in a marketing or communications role (can be in-house or agency)

· Proficient copywriting skills with an eye for detail, and the skills to write copy appropriate for the chosen channel and audience

• Experience in originating engaging content and managing the use of this across various social media platforms
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and understand the importance of both good team communication as well as good client communication
• Capable of maintaining strong personal relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
• Have experience in either sport, leisure, health or fitness, or be able to demonstrate a passion for the sectors in which we work
• A positive attitude to their work which means they are prepared to occasionally travel and work unsociable hours to ensure projects are successfully completed
• A positive, proactive, can–do attitude to their work and a determination to succeed for the client, the company and themselves

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
