The post holder will provide administrative and marketing assistance to the General Manager in the running of the office at a successful bar/restaurant. Outstanding levels of customer service are required in dealing with the varied requirements of the business.

  • The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other staff, members and visitors.
  • Experienced IT skills
  • Excellent organisational ability.
  • Excellent marketing skills and ideas.
  • The ability to build a marketing contacts database.
  • Knowledge of hospitality would be desirable.
  • Ability to multi-task in order to cope with the daily enquiries as needs dictate.
  • Smart presentation of self and work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the General Manager in the running of the Venue in accordance with the policies laid down by the Management, including those policies specific to the Marketing Plan.
  • Varied IT responsibilities including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internet based work.
  • Dealing with enquiries including telephone, email and face to face from visitors and suppliers.
  • Working towards targets for customer retainment as laid out in the Marketing Plan.
  • The promotion of Fabric – Drink & Dine to potential patrons of the venue.
  • Organising work around the calendar so that tasks are completed on time and specific deadlines met.
  • A multitude of minor administrative tasks related to the functioning of the venue.
