Position Summary:
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee their production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring that our products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Manufacturing Manager will also be responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our production process and drive efficiencies.


The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager
  • Manage and oversee the entire production process from start to finish, including scheduling, production planning, and quality control.
  • Ensure that our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our production process, drive efficiencies, and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that production processes are optimized and that products are manufactured in line with engineering specifications.
  • Ensure that all production activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring that production activities are carried out within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development within the production process, working with the senior management team to implement strategies to achieve company objectives.
The successful Manufacturing Manager will have the following skills / experience:
  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline / equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role
  • Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving efficiencies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
