My client, based in Lymington, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. This individual will be looking at supporting and improving products and manufacturing processes.

My client is a privately owned technology company based in Lymington. They have a reputation as a world leader in their field as a designer and manufacturer of high quality sensors. These sensors are used by some of the most demanding customers in meteorology, agriculture, road and weather, motorsport, utilities, marine and defence across the globe.

Description

The key responsibilities are:
  • Maintain and support current products and manufacturing processes.
  • Design, document and implement processes to facilitate the efficient manufacture of new and existing products.
  • Support the Research & Development team in the development of new products so they are economic to manufacture.
  • Encourage & support continuous improvement efforts throughout the organisation.
  • Lead and work on projects with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective delivery of goals.
Profile

The Ideal Candidate
  • Background within a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in production engineering, electronics, or mechanical field.
  • Background in a modern electronics, software and mechanical device manufacturing environment.
  • CAD (ideally, SolidWorks) background.
  • Able to write and edit in scripting languages (e.g. Python, AutoIt, PowerShell) and work with databases (preferred).
  • Want to work in an electronics field.
Job Offer

On Offer
  • Circa £38K - £45K.
  • Pension.
  • 24 days holiday + bank holiday.
