That’s why Wavin is currently looking for a Manager UK & Ireland Commercial Urban Climate Resilience to join our team working remotely within the UK. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.The role We have embarked on an exciting journey to grow the Urban Climate Resilience (UCR) business within Wavin to tackle the climate change challenges. The aim is to expand our product portfolio and move from component to solution provider, establishing a truly global commercial client approach. To support our growth ambitions, we are looking for a senior leader who will be commercially responsible for the UCR (managerial) P&L in the responsible countries by executing the growth strategy and leading the profitable upstream sales growth of the UCR business segment in the UK & Ireland.Your responsibilitiesCommercial responsible for UCR in the UK & IrelandResponsible for “Go to market” strategy & local business development, engaging earlier in the value chain to shape client vision in the market, Display Thought leadership, sell the integrated Wavin solution and support your customers through the design phase of their projects.Target specific key clients in your countries with input from segment managers and the UCR Product ManagersExecute and customize the global product strategy into local action plans and projectsCoordinate product launches, identify and meet product development needs, specifications and requirementsBuild & Lead the local commercial UCR team in your country.Secure that appropriate commercial tools are implemented Actively support the development of new concepts, sales tools and the like Your profileMSc relevant to one or more solution areas, e.g. hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, software engineering, urban planning, (landscape) architecture, or similar10+ years of relevant commercial experience orExperienced technical professional e.g. from engineering consultancies, architecture firms, or end-client’s engineering teamsBroad understanding of stormwater management and Urban Climate Resilience challenges or ability to acquire itGo-to-market (GTM) strategy execution and Key Client activation. Experience in leading a commercial team with solution sales into new markets & areas. Proven track-record of projects sales and understanding full project scopes– ability to sell integrated solutions and cross-sell other Wavin solutions. Strong commercial excellence skills Strong client facing skills and ability to inspire and transform client pains into demand - experienced in presenting, persuading, preparing proposals, procurement and interacting w/ clients on their technical level.
