Do you have a proven track record in business development and client relationship management in a highly competitive, Business to Business environment? Can you show that you have experience enabling, motivating, interacting and coaching diverse stakeholders in the dynamic environment of Managed Services ?

We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Manager, to focus on pipeline management and reporting, account management and internal client relationships across our Lines of Service as part of the PwC Operate team. Your track record will have the client at the heart of everything you do. You will have the ability to ensure all activity is focussed on having commercial impact in the market.

About the team


This role sits within the our PwC Operate team, which delivers large operational and managed service solutions in one place. It’s aimed at supporting clients with regulatory, risk and compliance requirements. With over 2,000 staff, we support activities ranging from one-off, delivery-focused projects to longer-term running of managed services. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team, PwC’s centralised support function, and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. A key part of the role is working with the Managing Directors in Operate in respect to the pipeline lifecycle liaising with key sales and marketing stakeholders to ensure every opportunity is maximised in leveraging the full capabilities of the firm.

About the Sales Enablement role

We’re looking for experienced and inspiring Manager level candidates to focus on pipeline management and reporting, relationship building and stakeholder management. Our Sales Enablement role focuses on the firm’s key managed service solutions and supports the Operate Managing Directors working with our Lead Relationship Partners and account teams to drive profitable revenue growth and deliver exceptional client value.

Your responsibilities

Those in the Sales Enablement role are responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective engagement strategies including relationship mapping, management of opportunity pipeline and working closely with the Operate Managing Directors.

  • Create pipeline reports and provide narrative around key opportunities and performance.

  • Helping create client touch points and generating new revenue streams.

  • Having a deep understanding of client priorities, strategies and organisations to ensure PwC Operate adds value across their broader organisation.

  • Bringing discipline, structure and support to Operate account teams through management information, market insight, knowledge sharing and meeting preparation.

  • Working right across the pursuit process to inform, support, challenge and inspire their account teams to spot, develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities.

  • Supporting the Firm’s one firm sales and marketing strategy.

Skills and experience required

  • You will possess excellent communication skills and gravitas with senior stakeholders, (both clients and senior staff) as well as demonstrating a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for global, complex clients.

  • An expert understanding of best practice account management with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives.

  • The jobholder must be creative and be able to effectively communicate key business messages to a diverse audience.

  • A proven track record in sales, business development and client relationship management in a highly competitive, Business to Business environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management and experience leading, motivating, developing and coaching diverse account teams.

  • A proactive individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team, which may at times be geographically dispersed.

  • A collaborative individual who is able to contribute and participate as a member of the PwC Operate team.

  • Strong commercial acumen both in terms of managing pipeline and challenging/coaching teams through the sales process.

  • A strong knowledge of a sales methodology and proven experience of driving opportunities through to revenue.
