We are looking for Junior Consultants and Consultants looking to make that next step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with 12 months - 4 years experience to get into the world of Management Consulting within Financial Services. Our client is looking for candidates to join their business as a management consultant to help their clients in the banking and financial services industries to plan and manage change and transformation programmes. In this role you will increase your knowledge of the financial services landscape, building knowledge of how a large complex organisation organises its services and implement change.

You will be involved with:
  • Mapping and documenting processes from ‘as-is’ to ‘to-be’ to support the provision of services in a variety of locations across multiple activities
  • Creating business plans and business cases for change projects
  • PMO and project management activities, producing RAID logs and managing risks to timelines and budgets
  • Design and delivery of Target Operating models (TOMs)
  • Process-mapping and analysis, leading to process improvements
  • Organising and enabling workshops for stakeholders to gather business requirements, leading to the creation of Functional requirement specifications
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 12 months and up to 4 years experience as a Consultant, Project Manager, or Management Consultant or similar
  • Work experience gained in a large, complex organisation, preferably within financial services
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of data analysis and process mapping
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing change
  • Strong communication skills, and the confidence to liaise with a variety of stakeholders with differing priorities
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture within a large corporate environment
  • Well-developed skills in MS Excel and Visio
