Management Accountant (Known internally as Site Accountant) We have a great opportunity for a part-time Site Accountant to join the team at our Uttoxeter site on a permanent basis. We can offer flexibility around the hours. The 29 hours can be flexed across 4 or 5 days. As Site Accountant, your core responsibilities will be to provide timely and accurate information on site performance and costs to support the Tyrrells financial controller (FC) and site leadership team in decision making and analysis. Your relationship building, influencing and analytical skills will be second to none, and due to the roles responsibilities and fast-moving activities of the site, we require someone who is a fast learner and can work under pressure with minimum supervision, albeit with ongoing remote support. The role responsibilities: Provide information to the site leadership team, to support the delivery of site strategy, goals, and objectives in line with business strategy, goals, and objectives Complete and review site KPIs Co-ordination of the data input for the monthly plant performance for the site, and entry of financial measures Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and KPIs performance for site and communicate with relevant commentary including prime cost variance analysis, cost centre overhead reporting, waste and project tracking. Co-ordinate and lead site weekly performance review for FC, site Factory General Manager and Tyrrells Head of Manufacturing Understand and investigate production variances Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliation process Support the Tyrrells FC on site planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including prime, overhead, logistics and capital forecasts for the site Manage fixed asset schedule and capitalising assets Provide constructive challenge to manufacturing and supply chain budget holders to help drive improvements Drive Overhead Cost Centre Budgetary Control Process Attend Site Accountants forums and central Finance meetings when required (some flexibility in working days may be required) Identify opportunities to develop and improve financial processes Manage Inventory Control processes including reconciliations and highlighting stock control issues Assist with year-end audit Work with accounts payable team to resolve parked invoice issues Provide financial support to the Supply Network Pillar in our Intersnack Work System (IWS) which standardises the way we work and eliminates loss.
