Management Accountant

Job description

We are working with a leading business and longstanding client in the Northallerton area who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team, in a newly created position due to continued growth.

This role is pivotal within the finance function of the business and will work closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the monthly Management Accounts
• Responsible for Balance sheet control
• Salaries and wages accounting
• Stock management and control
• CAPEX and fixed asset management
• Production of overhead reporting
• Support of timely and relevant information to departmental managers
• Support FC with year-end statutory accounts, audit & corporation tax
• Support FC with investor reporting
• Support FC with budgeting and forecasting process

Key Requirements

• Ideally you will be full qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or in the final stages of your studies
• Similar experience within a fast paced environment
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with FMCG businesses
• Willingness to learn and motivation to identify weaknesses, in order to improve processes
