We are recruiting for a Management Accountant for a very well-respected company based in St Albans. This is an interim role to cover maternity leave from Jan 2024-Feb 2025.

Key responsibilities for the Management Accountant:

• Finance Records - recognising month end revenue and relating costs including any adjustments from previous months
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Aged Debtors, Aged Payables, Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Work in Progress, Direct Costs, VAT reconciliation and Accruals
• Claim Value Estimates once claim has been completed
• Reporting on monthly social events and expenses
• Posting month end journals including payroll, accruals, depreciation/amortisation and provisions
• Calculating monthly payroll commission
• MTD Quarterly VAT Returns
• Fortnightly Cashflow Forecast
• Support with the external Audit process
• Other ad hoc business reporting
  
  

For this Management Accountant role the client are looking for:

• Management Accountant experience, part qualified or qualified by experience
• System use (preferred but not essential) - NetSuite, Webexpenses, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Excel
• Confident communication skills
• Team player, flexible and adaptable
