Salary £35,000-45,000 & Study Support

Harvey John is working closely with an ambitious, highly entrepreneurial, and quickly expanding Chichester based organisation on recruitment of a Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a key role within the finance function and one which will develop quickly as the FD passes down further responsibilities to free-up their time for strategic planning. There is the potential for promotion to Financial Controller in the future. A very attractive prospect for a career-minded, ambitious individual.

Overview of role:

  • Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Production of monthly UK VAT return.
  • Liaise with EU VAT agents to provide relevant information for monthly filings and setup payments where necessary.
  • Intercompany reconciliations.
  • Production of weekly and monthly payroll using payroll software (training provided).
  • Maintenance of company cash flow forecast.
  • Review and authorisation of payments.
  • Ad hoc work to assist the FD.
  • Support operational & strategic initiatives.
  • Provide absence cover for the Accounts Team.

Required Attributes:

  • We are open to applications from individuals who are fully or part-qualified AAT or who have begun their ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification.
