Management Accountant - £50,000 to £60,000 - Site based full time.
Benefits: 33 days annual leave, private medical cover & early finish Friday at 3pm

RattrayParkin, a leading recruitment agency specialising in finance and accounting roles, is currently assisting a listed global manufacturing business in their search for a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant.

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for several key areas of the finance function, including the analysis of costs for products, Preparation of management accounts and other financial information, data, and analysis for internal and external submission, and the maintenance of accounting systems and processes.

The successful candidate will also oversee a Finance Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts for review by UK Finance including analysis of cost of sales, margins and stock valuations.
• Review trends on key accounts and share best practice
• Understand product and customer profitability
• Preparation of journals
• Support Financial Controller in preparation of budgets and forecasts for Group Submission
• Collection of data and calculation of monthly cost reduction summary and templates and chair meetings
• Collection of data and calculation of weekly KPI’s
• Preparation of data for monthly Operations Review pack
• Assist Site Managers in the preparation of regional / site review pack for discussion by the executive team
• Support internal and external audits as required (including SOX)
• Various other reporting and analysis assignments as required
• Provide support to the team and assist with ad-hoc accounting duties as required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or latter stage part-qualified
• Manufacturing or Engineering sector experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel skills.

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
